-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Okay, I applied the patch, rebuilt beta 3, ran cups-genppdupdate.5.0, restarted cups, and the 2880x2880 option showed up as an option in the cups interface. (On a side note, once selected, the option only read "2880x288"--weird) Anyway, I made a couple of 4x6 prints, and honestly, I cannot tell much of a difference at all. I scanned both images in at 300 and 1200 dpi, and still couldn't tell a difference. The lower resolution might have suffered from a little extra saturation, as the colors in the partly-shadowed background were a little too rich, especially the blues. Other than that, the prints look pretty identical. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCnKUQ/u+3PIk1ZXQRAku1AKC4NlYiPdPGb3GNjE/3vurtt7UtMQCg0EOD PXbC55JHTgWlF+v9FQ5K0Qo= =0Bdi -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
