Gigaset Hardware Driver 0.4.1 Released

The Gigaset Hardware Driver connects your Linux PC to your ISDN line via
a Siemens Gigaset ISDN DECT base. New features in release 0.4.1 (still
beta) include support for incoming calls and voice.

You can find the release at
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=23946&package_id=20246

We provide binary packages for some Linux distributions (currently SuSE
9.0 and 9.1) for current default kernels. Before installing a package,
please assure that your kernel version (output of "uname -r") matches
the version the package has been compiled for.

Other users can build their own rpms from the src.rpm as described on
http://gigaset307x.sourceforge.net/ or build the driver from the
sources.

The most important improvements are:
- support for incoming calls
- voice support
- support for new devices (e.g. Gigaset SX353 isdn)
- cidmode module parameter (can be used for shutting down the DECT
connection, to allow another M10x to connect to the base)
- new frontend program gigaconf for saving the base configuration
- lots of new commands for gigacontr
- bug fixes
