Hi there and seasons greetings :) For the first question yes it is possible to restrict access to wfs via the security subsystem. Some docs are available here: http://docs.geoserver.org/2.0.0/user/security/index.html As for the second question, it is not available at the moment, but will be soon. Hopefully in the next release. It is currently being worked on.
