And there I thought the earth was round ;-). I recognize how this is not a trivial matter - it's one we punted on in our one map-based search tool. For our immediate needs, we can do the bounding box splitting and image merging client-side. Since our development work is in Java, it might be a first step towards answering this problem in a broader sense. Thanks! Joanna |
