Oh, and about filtering, usually you keep the mocap data as raw as it = gets from the acquisition software, and then smooth the anim curves out = into your animation software. Again, usually the mocap software already removes spikes in a given = range (value/time), but that's based on the sampling frequency. Vicon8 optical samples at 120Hz, so, time values for interpolation are = very narrow. That's why you usually end up cleaning anim keyframe curves into your = anim software...rebuilding curves by interpolation once you have your = "production" frame rate in place.
