Hi everybody, I am using gate tool for information extraction. While using nominal co reference and pronominal co reference I am not getting correct results. Cant we get these co reference resolutions for pronouns? Can any one give me suggestions on this? My problem is I have given this text Maple syrup comes from sugar maple trees. At one time, maple syrup was used to make sugar. This is why the tree is called a "sugar" maple tree. Sugar maple trees make sap. Farmers collect the sap. The best time to collect sap is in February and March. The nights must be cold and the days warm. The farmer drills a few small holes in each tree. He puts a spout in each hole. Then he hangs a bucket on the end of each spout. In this text the gate tool cannot identify the term he as farmer How I have to rectify this problem. And I have another doubt. Generally in documents we put a capital letter in sentence starting. Then the gate tool cannot identify the terms. In the above text the Maple term is couldnt identified by gate tool. What I have to do in this type of situations. Can any one help me please . thank you. Regards, Kishore. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Get on board.
