Hi, today I tried to build from the CVS tree. So I followed the README.CVSusers file and tried "./bootstrap". Results are not really encouraging :-( All versions of required tools (automake, autoconf, libtool) are higher than stated in the file. It seems that the problem start with the fact that no Makefile in in the toplevel directory to perform the "make distclean". Any ideas? How does one build the tarball from CVS? mknoblau@mkn5833l1:/scratch/tmp/ganglia/monitor-core> ./bootstrap Running make distclean make: *** No rule to make target `distclean'. Stop.
