Depending on the phone, using any of a couple protocols: at,fbus,mbus, and probably lot more You can look over gammu's shoulders by adding "textall" just before the actual command-option: gammu 3 textall --identify will access phone by settings from [gammu3]-group in .gammurc, and verbosely display the complete dialog in hex(plus chars) (possibly redirected to a logfile) If you want to concentrate on "at"-protocol, you'd better dump all those phones that don't do "at" :-) There is little to no chance of getting things done with "at"-commands on a phone that is generally based e.g. on fbus2. PS: the 6610i works perfectly well with infrared. (well, except for the (imho: much too) short idle-timeout for infrared on the phone) PPS: I don't know the V700. |
