[fuse-devel] fuse_compat.h: fuse_operations_compat1.open(char*, int) parameter explanation wanted.

I am at a loss in figuring out or researching what the 'int' parameter
in fuse_operations_compat1.open(char*, int) is supposed to represent.
Much later versions of this open() function use a 'fuse_file_info'
struct in its place.

What did the int represent? How was it used?
