I'm trying to come up with an option that has been requested by a few users. This is to provide a secure method of uploading a disk image to a server versus the default ftp method. I found sshfs, and on a regular Fedora system, I can create an sshfs mount and can then create files to it with no problem. With the g4l boot cd, I was able to copy the sshfs program, but when I try the same mounting commands, it comes back with broken pipe message. It appears to be at the point that the password is normally requested. It seems to be with file 3. I had a similar issue when getting aespipe to work for creating encrypted image files. With it, I had to add an -G / to set the home directory. Then it worked fine. The g4l boot cd uses a kernel.org kernel, and defaults to a user g4l. Tried to put ssh on the same setup, and get an error message that says user doesn't exist, so it might be something in the is missing for the file system. The user is listed in the passpd file, but perhaps something else is being looked at. Thanks. +----------------------------------------------------------+ Michael D.
