I just installed FUSE 2.7 and FUSE 1.9 on my 2.6.23 kernel from Gentoo, but it doesn't work. djc@darwin var $ sudo sshfs -odebug,sshfs_debug aera@10.247.96.33: transtrend Server version: 3 unique: 1, opcode: INIT (26), nodeid: 0, insize: 56 INIT: 7.8 flags=0x00000003 max_readahead=0x00020000 INIT: 7.8 flags=0x00000001 max_readahead=0x00020000 max_write=0x00020000 unique: 1, error: 0 (Success), outsize: 40 (After this, I get nothing. As a normal user, I get "fuse: failed to open /dev/fuse: Permission denied"). This kind of seems to work (without debug, there's no output at all), but it doesn't: djc@darwin var $ ls -l ls: cannot access transtrend: Permission denied total 1 ... ?????????? ? ? ? ? ? transtrend ... Am I doing something stupid? I looked to the FAQ, but couldn't find an answer. One problem might be that this SSH connection should go over an OpenVPN tunnel, which is on the tap0 interface and requires a different route. Would that work at all, or this is a bit too far-fetched? Cheers, Dirkjan |
