I have searched the fuppes documentation for some discussion on this exception, or a means of suppressing the exceptions, but can't find anything. Can anyone help me?
Or is this normal for fuppes?
Apart from these relatively minor problems everything seems to work well, and I recommend fuppes for this application.

When fuppes is running I get repeated exceptions in the terminal window, as below:
inotify: IN_IGNORED
inotify: IN_IGNORED
exception: void Inotify::Add(InotifyWatch*): adding watch failed
exception: void Inotify::Add(InotifyWatch*): adding watch failed
exception: void Inotify::Add(InotifyWatch*): adding watch failed
