	-        Spec document (general text + autogenerated reference,

	-        UML model + XML Schema + cartridge

	-        Sample files covering each package in FuGE

	-        (Hopefully) some sample files for a test extension
(likely GelML) of FuGE (candidate version 1)

	From then, I suggest we have a 2 week internal review period for
all FuGE developers to review the specs and sample files to check for
errors.

	            If there are no major problems, we then put the FuGE
spec into a formal standardisation process.=20

	I suggest we follow a modified document process based on the PSI
process (attached). To modify this for our purposes, we will need to
define a document editor to oversee the process, an email list for
public comment and various people to review the specs (see notes on the
figure). We still have not solved the problem of who will formally own
the spec (and the copyright). If anyone has suggestions on these issues,
let me know.

	I think there are now too many dependencies on FuGE being signed
off soon for us to delay too much longer. Can Michael, Angel and Paul
send a response to say if they agree (or not) with these deadlines?
