Can tell you what compilation frags worked for me under a Debian based system. Frreetype: dpkg -l | grep freetype ii libfreetype6 2.3.9-5 FreeType 2 font engine, shared library files ii libfreetype6-dev 2.3.9-5 FreeType 2 font engine, development files I do not have a freetype binary install, all I seem to have is /usr/bin/freetype-config I use the following configure flags: ./configure --enable-debug --with-fontsdir=/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-bitstream-vera --with-target=motif --enable-libeai --enable-plugin --prefix=/usr --with-plugindir=/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ --with-statusbar=standard --enable-thread-colorized Yo probably only need ./configure --with-fontsdir=/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-bitstream-vera --with-target=motif --enable-plugin --prefix=/usr --with-plugindir=/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/ --withstatusbar=standard ls -1 /usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-bitstream-vera shows: VeraBd.ttf VeraBI.ttf VeraIt.ttf VeraMoBd.ttf VeraMoBI.ttf VeraMoIt.ttf VeraMono.ttf VeraSeBd.ttf VeraSe.ttf Vera.ttf Given that configure line, make and make install works for me. There are issues with symbolic links, so on a re-install I always do: rm `find /usr/include /usr/lib /usr/local -type f | grep -i freewrl` /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libFreeWRLplugin.so ; make install Dave |
