Very difficult to select fleet in lower left system
(only a few stars, so easy to locate). May be due to
unusually high star density there?

    I can select that fleet. There's plenty of space to hit that
    icon, about ONE pixel ;-) (lower right icon corner)

    I will have look!

    recreate the situation and attach a screenshot or newer

    geoff, right? ;-) I can remember that so called bug. I think
    that's why i introduced this zoom effect whenever you move a
    mouse ontop of a fleet.
