Ah!  Well-spotted.  I keep forgetting about freeglut's support for
not-exiting when shutting down.

I'll add this and delete those files later today.  (If I forget, yell
at me.)  I have to run at the moment.  But I'll get this stuck in with
a few dozen other lines of changes already pending.  Probably around
mid-afternoon, with any luck.
