MSVC 6.0 has a category in its project settings called "Post-Build Step." In that you can put commands like copying files from one directory to another. Here's what the command looks like in the "pui.dsp" project file in the PLIB library: # Begin Special Build Tool SOURCE="$(InputPath)" PostBuild_Desc=Copy Library to plib directory PostBuild_Cmds=copy release\*.lib ..\..\*.* copy pu.h ..\..\pu.h copy puGLUT.h "..\..\" copy puFLTK.h "..\..\" copy puSDL.h "..\..\" copy puNative.h "..\..\" copy puPW.h ..\..\ # End Special Build Tool I don't know if there are any special non-printing characters in there; in the MSVC "Project Settings" window each "copy" command is on its own line. - John On 3/11/2012 10:35 PM, Diederick C.
