About the only thing I can think of right off, if you can rebuild the source code, is to stick a print statement at the beginning of the function (and have it print out only if it's not a redraw event, otherwise you get tons of them), having it print out the various event data. You should get a specific event when you minimize the window. Unfortunately I'm not the Linux authority so I can't go much further into detail. - John At 09:52 AM 9/24/2009, you wrote: >Hi, I am trying to catch when a user clicks on the minimise icon in >the top right hand corner of an opengl created window. > >Looking at the source code there is a case which is documented to do >this for me but I never seem to hit that piece of code when I click >the minimise icon. > >I am on Linux using X. > >Snippet: > >case SC_MINIMIZE : > /* User has clicked on the "-" to minimize the window >*/ > /* Turn off the visibility */ > window->State.Visible = GL_FALSE ; > >Can someone point me in the right direction? > >Thanks. > >------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >Come build with us!
