Hi, I agree with Alexey: "trust the XML". The list in Wiki/Sourceforge page is just an indicative description, nothing more. Also it is a good idea to contact FOSDEM organizers to get the actual list of FOSDEM 2010 events, which shall be ready by now. I am not sure if the contact information of the relevant FOSDEM person is available on project page, so I repeat it here: Christophe Vandeplas <chr...@va...> BR, Sasha -----Original Message----- From: Vyskubov Alexey [mailto:ale...@ix...] Sent: Tuesday, December 29, 2009 13:23 To: Fos...@li... Subject: Re: [Fosdem-maemo-devel] FOSDEM Schedule Application for Maemo Hi, I'd say trust the XML. Sasha, what do you think? I do not know the source of information in confluence. Do you really need to know the list, cannot you just parse XML? Regarding syncing of XML with the server: I think we can put it in the user stories. It's not so hard to implement, I think. -- Alexey ________________________________________ From: Timko Marek [mar...@ix...] Sent: Tuesday, December 29, 2009 10:00 AM To: Fos...@li... Subject: [Fosdem-maemo-devel] FOSDEM Schedule Application for Maemo Hi Alexey, 1. we have one question: Where we can find activities ? >From https://confluence.ixonos.local/display/TLCFREE/FOSDEM+Schedule+Application+for+Maemo ACTIVITIES are: * Keynotes * Main Track Talks (in several categories) * Devrooms * Distribution miniconfs * Lightning Talks * Stands But from parsed schedule.en.xml we found two candidates(but no one is the same like they are in confluence): <types>: "Lightning-Talk" "Meeting" "Other" "Podium" "Workshop" <tracks>: "Ada" "BSD+PostgreSQL" "Collaboration" "CrossDesktop" "Debian" "Development and Languages" "Distributions" "Drupal" "Embedded" "Fedora+CentOS" "Free Java" "GNOME" "GNUstep+OpenGroupware+Etoile" "Jabber+XMPP" "KDE" "Kernel" "Keynotes" "LPI Certification" "Lightning Talks" "Mozilla" "MySQL" "Open Source Initiative" "OpenOffice.org" "Ruby and Rails" "Security" "Systems" "X.org" "openSUSE" 2. Comments about user stories from Alexander: o I'd like to see all events for current day (default: current time) <-- Do we show events in the past (today, but earlier than 'now()'? We plannig to have here just events from 'now()'. o I'd like to see all events for other days <-- All days? Selected days? Here we are plannig to have at the top of the view 'arrows' like calendars used to have, through the arrows you can move to previous/next day o I'd like to be noticed when some of my favorite events are overlapping <--- only while displaying events? How about when adding an event to Favorits? Good comment, seems that we forgot for it. It will be a nice to have some kind of "information note" that events are overlapping immediately after user will add something to favorites. * How about online syncing with the server (if the XML was updated)? o I'd like to have option to update list of events through the web <- Isn't it enought ? At the confluence there was written that features that application shoud have are all OFF-LINE. - Marek ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Verizon Developer Community Take advantage of Verizon's best-in-class app development support A streamlined, 14 day to market process makes app distribution fast and easy Join now and get one step closer to millions of Verizon customers http://p.sf.net/sfu/verizon-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Fosdem-maemo-devel mailing list Fos...@li... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fosdem-maemo-devel |
