Hi all, While messing around with AI , unsuccessfully so far , Ive noticed similar scripts in AI and Traffic. Ive attempted to add an Alaska Airlines daily flight from CYVR to KSFO , just wondering which is more appropriate to use ... Im guessing the only difference is how they are activated in Flightgear... Ive also noticed, while creating the Alaska Airlines livery , that the AI aircraft use a 1024x1024 texture.Isn't that a bit much for AI aircraft ? Finally got internet back , sorry if I havent answered anyone in the last few days ... Cheers, Syd |

The scripts in AI give you fairly detailed control over the animation side, at the cost of intelligence, whereas the scripts in Traffic don't give you that much control, but allow FlightGear more intelligent control over AI traffic. It's easy to scale that down using a little script centered around imageMagik, and this is something we had thought about. The only problem I see (because Im just learning Traffic) , is liveries . I try to use the AI / Models aircraft , but dont see a way to select liveries like the AI setup...
