All tutorials don't seem to reflect that if the scenario starts in the dark/night the first step is to get some light in order to be able to see something, i.e. turn the cockpit lights on or light a candle or else.
I don't understand the concern. This ticket remains actionable and open for comment, but four years have passed with no progress. This isn't something that the core team would implement, so it need to get the attention of aircraft owners which are the typical authors of the tutorials.
Moving it to the Wiki will hopefully increase awareness with the tutorial authors and encourage the community to begin adopting your suggestion.
