#2 Flickr Backup does not consistentely load all photos

Since I have added a status of how many photos/sets
have been added to the display, I have noticed that
Flickr Backup does not load all your photos/sets every
time you run it. Actually, I have 497 photos and it
rarely loaded all the photos in the ALL tab every.
This needs to be fixed.

ditto for me. OSX 10.3.9, safari 1.3. Doesn't load anything like all of my
    photos (3500-odd) random order, too.

Also "not in sets" "new photos" greyed out.

looking forward to seeing this work. I'm sure it'll be hungrily taken up. Good
    luck!

Thanks for the note. I may ask you to test the next
version. I'm still working on getting a large number of
photos on mine (i should have close to 1000 later this
week), but you have much much more. The current version
(which isn't checked into CVS yet) is consistently loading
all my photos (~600) and they are back in order again. I'm
confident that I squashed this bug. I'll let you know when
I have the new version up.

Can either of you verify this is fixed for me in the current
version (1.0a2.0.1)? I still have only about 900 photos,
but is loads the all for me. Let me know so I can close it.
    Thanks!

I have about 3700 photos, and it doesn't get all of them. Like one of the other comments, not in sets and new are greyed out. When I tried to down load each set individualy, it didn't download the entire set. Flicker said I had 269 photos in a given set, but it only pulled down 261.

Is this project still activly worked on?

Yes it is still active and worked on (when I have time). It is just me who does this and my personal life comes before my play life (coding in my spare time). So not many changes have been made to FlickrBackup in a while. If you would like to help, feel free and check out the source. As for the Not In Sets and New Photos, those features aren't implemented so they will NEVER be enabled until I actually do something with them. I wish I would have taken the tabs off...

    Hi there,

I just thought I'd mention that I have this problem, but it seems to be consistent each time. I have 2614 photos in Flickr but Flickr Backup only gets as far as 1849 then stops loading the thumbnails. This has happened a few times with exactly the same result each time.

    thanks

    :-Joe
