Flickr Backup is a Java application that allows you do download your photos and back them up to your harddrive or to media. This is useful if your local harddrive goes bad and you don't have a current backup.

Great piece of software. Tried it on my flickr account and it back-up my photos to my HD.

FlickrBackup Replaced by FlickrEdit
For those not keeping track of the Sunkencity Software Blog, we have released a new application called FlickrEdit. It can be found here: http://sunkencity.org/flickredit FlickrBackup is no longer being maintained, but all the functionality of FlickrBackup is included in FlickrEdit. We just released version 1.1 which also includes the ability to backup the title, tags, description , etc and they are stored in the photos headers! So go check it out. Andrew
