Considering Notepad as a Windows standard text application: Ctrl+F for find, F3 for find again and Ctrl+H for replace. Netbeans works the same way. On Eclipse there is only Ctrl+F for the three actions: find, find again and replace. Delphi uses: Ctrl+F (and Ctrl+Q+F) for find, F3 for find again and Ctrl+R (and Ctrl+Q+A) for replace. I have found two places where we could have ideas (not the shortcuts themselves) that might be interesting: http://delphi.wikia.com/wiki/Default_IDE_Shortcut_Keys and http://coleweb.dc.fi.udc.es/docencia/edi/freepascal/doc/user/node7.html#SECTION007140000000000000000 (search for "Table: Text navigation") Best wishes, Valdir 2008/8/25, Michael Hieke <mg...@gm...>: > Valdir Marcos wrote: > > > Would be possible to have "Ctrl+F" (or other short cut) for calling > > the "Find/Replace window" at any time in the query? > > > > It would help me a lot because I make intensive use of FlameRobin to > > create complex queries and scripts... > > > I'm not that keen on adding even more hard-coded keyboard shortcuts, it > would be much better to come up with a way to map keyboard shortcuts to > commands at runtime, on a per-user basis. > The standard on Windows is indeed Ctrl+F for find, with Ctrl+G for find > again.
