Depending on your level of paranoia, you can stick it into either: /etc/rc.d/rc.local or into /etc/rc.d/init.d and then make symlinks to it in runlevels 2,3,4 and 5. Sticking it into rc.local is less work but then you have to live with the fact that in the few seconds that it takes during booting between the time your network interfaces are initialized and the rc.local (which is always executed last in the chain) is run, some script kiddie could be hammering you hundreds of times. This is not really an issue now with linux but it will be when linux viruses become the flavor of the month.
