Please include common/utils.cpp and common/utils_proto.h in common and common_classic libraries. I'm replacing the plethora of functions whose only objective was to trim trailing spaces, using different names and logic. I got tired of linker errors when trying to bind isql to common.lib, so I decided to include directly utils.cpp and utils_proto.h in isql (sorry, Dima). Please no more pollution throughout the sources with autoconf items when the wrapper is trivial. I mean, if you have three versions of a function, depending on platform, and there are no problem with different, incompatible params, do the autoconf trick in jrd/common.h with an inline function. Have a look at the tail of common.h for two examples. C. -- Claudio Valderrama C. Consultant, SW developer. www.cvalde.net - www.firebirdSql.org |
