Huummmm ... the provider uses connections via tcp/ip so maybe the problem is
with the netbeui database path, could you try using a connection string 
like this:

User=SYSDBA;Password=masterkey;Database=server_name/port:database_path;
Dialect=3;Charset=ISO8859_1;Pooling=False;Server Type=0
