I added the following to the end of the prerm script: … # look for PkgInfo and other problematic app bundle files and remove them for file in `dpkg -L $FINK_PACKAGE_NAME` ; do if [[ "$file" =~ "PkgInfo" ]] || [[ "$file" =~ "empty.lproj" ]] then rm $file fi done This covers the cases that we know about. When the package isn’t currently installed the prerm script isn’t triggered, so this isn’t triggered.
