I have been trying to install gnucash2 on my iMac, and I first got other dependency issues, but now after running it again a few times (after selfupdate, update-all, and trying to update gwenhywfar and nettle4 individually) it has settled on this no matter what I do: bash-3.2$ fink install gnucash2 Password: Information about 5818 packages read in 6 seconds. Can't resolve dependency "nettle4 (>=2.4-5)" for package "gwenhywfar60-4.3.2-1" (no matching packages/versions found) Exiting with failure. bash-3.2$ fink apropos nettle Information about 5818 packages read in 0 seconds. i nettle4-bin 2.5-1 Low level cryptographic library *i* nettle4-shlibs 2.4-5 Low level cryptographic library i nettle4a 2.5-1 Low level cryptographic library i nettle4a-shlibs 2.5-1 Low level cryptographic library bash-3.2$ I am only mildly fink literate--I'm sure there must be a way to tell it to use nettle4a but I don't know how to do that and a Google search is coming up empty (for me, at least). Relevant version info (I think, let me know if you need more): bash-3.2$ sw_vers ProductName: Mac OS X ProductVersion: 10.7.4 BuildVersion: 11E53 bash-3.2$ fink -V | head -n 2 Package manager version: 0.34.2 Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Sun Aug 19 21:09:36 2012, 10.7, x86_64 bash-3.2$ xcodebuild -version | head -n 1 Xcode 4.4.1 bash-3.2$ Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. --Bella |
