ffmpeg/avconv binaries must be installed and FFmpegYAG should be in the same directory,
if this is not the case you can create a link inside FFmpegYAG's directory which points to ffmpeg/avconv
ffmpeg/libav runtime libraries must be installed and availabe through the PATH environment variable
wxGTK 2.8.12 runtime libraries must be installed and availabe through the PATH environment variable
Windows
a shared build (*.exe & *.dll) of ffmpeg/avconv must be available in the FFmpegYAG directory
I managed to compile on mint nate 19.3 tricia having wxgtk3.0. Same pop-up notices at start and depreciated notices if started from terminal, but it opens and saves a script file okay, which is nice. Haven't used it but once to cut a clip out, and found the slider on video not moving as well or fast as I'd like to move it accurately. Also the windowing of the gui did not do well if resized. I believe a change over to something other than gtk would be good? Note: the README.md file also list requirements to compile and has different ones given there. I was not sure if wxget3.0 would allow compiling, but the ./confgure, make, and sudo make install were all fine.
