#360: Make echo audiofire 8 and audiofire 12 work with recent firmwares ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Reporter: picander | Owner: Type: bug | Status: new Priority: waiting for device info | Milestone: Indeterminant (need device info) Component: devices/fireworks | Version: FFADO SVN (trunk) Resolution: | Keywords: Device_name: | ---------------------------------------+------------------------------------ Comment (by jwoithe): Replying to [comment:12 picander]: > by the way, someone at Echo answered me he can help us with this bug, we only need someone of us who knows ffado enough to debug the problem. Admittedly this comment is now over 6 months old, but it may be possible to progress this issue now. It turns out that a mate of mine has recently purchased an AudioFire12 and it would be possible for me to borrow it for an extended period of time to work through this issue with the newer firmware. In the first instance I need to get in contact with the relevant people at Echo to work out what needs to be done at the FFADO end and then set things in place to make this happen. To move this forward, if "picander" could contact me off-list via email we can work out the relevant details. Pieter: do you have anything to add in the way of comments or useful contacts at Echo? -- Ticket URL: <http://subversion.ffado.org/ticket/360#comment:17> FFADO <http://subversion.ffado.org/index.fcgi> Free Firewire Audio Drivers |
