Correct. In short you connect like this: winPC ---- Linux PC ---- MOTU The winPC has a standard (OHCI) firewire card, the Linux PC has the PCILynx-based card. You run software called nosy (git version) on the Linux PC to do the actual capturing while changing device settings on the winPC in a controlled way. It's a little more involved than this short explanation suggests, but if you go about it in a logical way it's not too bad. Let me know if this comes off and we can take it from there.
