Here are the log messages from trying to configure and run with 4 presonus firepods under jack-audio. 23:18:56.709 JACK connection graph change. libiec61883 warning: Established connection on channel 0. You may need to manually set the channel on the receiving node. libiec61883 warning: Established connection on channel 1. You may need to manually set the channel on the receiving node. libiec61883 warning: Established connection on channel 2. You may need to manually set the channel on the receiving node. libiec61883 warning: Established connection on channel 3. You may need to manually set the channel on the receiving node. libiec61883 warning: Failed to allocate bandwidth. LibFreeBoB ERR: Could not do CMP for connection 4 FreeBoB ERR: Could not start streaming threads DRIVER NT: could not start driver cannot start driver zombified - calling shutdown handler When I look at what I am asking for, I see this 48000 samples/second 32 bits/sample 8 channels 4 units One unit gives me 12,288,000 bits/second Four units give me 49,152,000 bits/second which is sooooo far south of 400Mbits/second that I don't think protocol overhead is going to be a major factor here. Am I just stupid or is there a bug in libiec61883 or freebob? PS the samples are really 24 bits in size, but I'm guessing they are coming across as 32 bit samples.
