Christiaan,=20 I did infact change the port for Fedora to 8009. I went ahead and created a new database for Fez. I also switched Apache to listen to port 80 (localhost), but that didn't help. How do you know if Fez is trying to run off of Tomcat and not Apache? Is there a way to confirm the correct settings? I put in echo statement in the fez/index.php to see where things weren't working. It's in the first line - include_once("config.inc.php"); . I have no clue why this include wouldn't work. I've done other includes that have worked just fine with this same version of PHP and Apache. And I tried checking to make sure that the file exists and that index.php can find it, and it seems to be there and reachable. Here is the latest copy of my config.inc.php file - Any more ideas? ;) Katie -----Original Message----- From: Christiaan Kortekaas [mailto:c.k...@li...]=20 Sent: Tuesday, January 17, 2006 5:52 PM To: fez...@li... Subject: Re: [Fez-users] Fez - index.php nothing shows up! Hi Katie, I can see a couple of potential problems. Your config is not setup in the usual way for the databases. Fez needs its own separate mysql database, but you have APP_SQL_DBNAME set to 'fedora21b' (when it should be something like 'fez') and the other APP_SQL config variables setup to your Fedora mysql database. I guess you could run the Fez database tables in the same database as Fedora, but I would not recommend it. Are there a lots of 'fez_' tables in the fedora21b database as created from the setup scripts? Also you have APP_FEDORA_LOCATION and APP_HOSTNAME setup it looks like you might be trying to run Fez from the Fedora (Apache Tomcat) webserver. Fez needs to run from the Apache webserver (or IIS) while Fedora runs its own built-in Tomcat webserver that is for Fedora alone. Unless you have changed the default ports, on installation Fedora runs off localhost:8080 and localhost:8443 for SSL. Fez by default runs off port 80 (standard http) and port 443 for SSL. Have you got Apache installed (with PHP5 etc)? If so it should usually just run from localhost (ie port 80 http) rather than localhost:8080 which is the Fedora Tomcat server (default ports anyway).
