Hello to all Fez users! I can happily announce that the new ETH E-Collection, the institutional repository of ETH Zurich (http://www.ethz.ch), is now publicly available: >>> http://e-collection.ethbib.ethz.ch <<< E-Collection v3 contains over 10'000 documents in fulltext (plus about 200 movies), among them also all dissertations from ETH Zurich 1909-1950 (OCR-processed, fully searchable). It is based on Fez 2, using the Solr search add-on we developed recently (including dynamic advanced search form). We also developed a set of professionally designed templates, fully XHTML/CSS Standards compliant, fully accessible. The interface is dual languages (english/german). Our code (and layout templates) will be provided back to the community in the coming months (but this will take some time, because EC3 is not yet based on the most current Fez revision). We appreciate any feedback or comments. For the E-Collection v3 team, Kai Jauslin |
