[Fail2ban-users] Programs talking with fail2ban

Hello,
Any API (please send me location of documentation) or method to "talk"
with fail2ban from PHP, Python, etc, from localhost.

For example something like this:

"Ban this IP 600seconds"
"unBan this IP"
"is banned this IP?"
