I am now using C as the horrible 80xx Assembler Language is so hard to understand. At least for me as I am programmed 65xx in assembler (years before;) Didn't thought that using C is so easy with sdcc the renumeration by the way can wait. If my own project shows any early success that is usable for others I let the list know. --cu Bernd |

Bernd, There is another example, usb2184.tar.gz, in the CVS tree that will be = in the next release. It can currently be downloaded from = http://ezusb2131.sourceforge.net/usb1284.tar.gz - it will be there until = it is picked up in the next release. The usb1284 example is a good one = to start with, you can change the product/vendor ID in one of the = structs for custom enumeration.=20 A few months ago I started working on an "end-to-end" example, I started = with the code in the usb1284 example above. It does not use the = auto-vectoring though, not too much of a concern for me right now. See = if the usb1284 example code is what you need...? It compiles with sdcc = (http://sdcc.sourceforge.net). Cheers, tonycu BTW: I plan to have the end-to-end example ready for release the first = part of February. > -----Original Message----- > From: Bernd Dau [mailto:Bernd@Daucity.de] > Sent: Monday, December 30, 2002 10:14 AM > To: ezu...@li... > Subject: [Ezusb2131-users] Sample Source in as31 >=20 >=20 > Hi list, > while wondering why the list is so empty I have a question. > The sample code from "usb by Example" "Buttons and lights" > is reenumerating the device an is seen as "Buttons and lights" > with usbview the key for this is in "usb_int.a51" out from=20 > "BAL_V20.zip" > I think. > Unfortunatly this source is written in Keil as51 assembler . > I would like to use this in as31, the free assembler for linux. > It might be possible to convert the source in the other format. > Has anybody done this? or can help by this step?=20 >=20 > For background information: > I just bought the cheap "USB Interface Modul V1.2" from=20 > braintechnology > ; Germany > The example bal.hex works. Hi list, while wondering why the list is so empty I have a question. The sample code from "usb by Example" "Buttons and lights" is reenumerating the device an is seen as "Buttons and lights" with usbview the key for this is in "usb_int.a51" out from "BAL_V20.zip" I think. Unfortunatly this source is written in Keil as51 assembler . I would like to use this in as31, the free assembler for linux. It might be possible to convert the source in the other format. Has anybody done this? or can help by this step? For background information: I just bought the cheap "USB Interface Modul V1.2" from braintechnology ; Germany The example bal.hex works. The led2.asm works too. Playing around with some modifications are all succesfull. So to begin developing for my own project I must be able to do the enumeration at first. Buying the Book is not the best iea, first its in english only and second the examples are al in keil assembly so withe converting problem is still standing then. For kindly replies (preferly in German ;) ) I am always open other hints cu have a nice Happy New Year! -- Bernd Dau <Bernd@Daucity.de> |

Kevin, I've not had the opportunity to try any FX based boards. I would think = one would just change the dev/prod id, this can be done with command = line parameters, when the ezusb2131 driver is loaded. The only other = thing I can think of is the location of the CPUCS_REG (0x7F92), used to = cause the device to re-enumerate. Please post your findings to the list. Thanks, tonycu > -----Original Message----- > From: Kevin Webb [mailto:kp...@ju...] > Sent: Monday, June 03, 2002 3:13 PM > To: ezu...@li... > Subject: [Ezusb2131-users] (no subject) >=20 >=20 > Hi, >=20 > I curious to know what issues would be involved in=20 > interfacing the ezusb2131 > driver with EZ-USB FX chips (CY7C646xx core)? Hi, I curious to know what issues would be involved in interfacing the ezusb2131 driver with EZ-USB FX chips (CY7C646xx core)? Given that the FX supports standard EZ protocols is this a no brainer or are there questions regarding chip identification, etc. that need to be addressed? Thanks!
