[Exist-open] eXist 1.0 first beta

Hi,

I'm happy to announce that a new public release is available for download from 
the website. This has been overdue since more than a month (I actually 
planned a christmas release), but the large number of bug-fixes were worth 
the delay.

The new release is called 1.0 beta1. The many new features, in particular, the 
XQuery support justify a 1.0, I think.
