bin/client.sh -ouri=3Dxmldb:exist://localhost:8090/exist/xmlrpc

should work. If that fails, you may have to check if the xmlrpc interface=
 is=20
responding. Browsing to http://localhost:8090/exist/xmlrpc with a web bro=
wser=20
should present a message like

HTTP ERROR: 405 HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL
