I think I read somewhere that exist associates one exist:id attribute with each element node. It appears for retrieval of a document, or when executing a query, only the fragment root will have this attribute set. For example, if I execute exist:/db/body>find document(*)/ART[@ID="MBGE.04.F96EC0E001BE3D6C"] the root element, "ART", will have the exist:id attribute displayed, but none of the other elements in the fragment. Now, when executing exist:/db/body>find document(*)//P[. &= 'bilge'] All "P" elements will have this attribute, but again none of the children. Now my question is whether there is a way to force this attribute to show on all element nodes. I want to use this on my search results page: When the user clicks on an entry in the hit summary, the corresponding fragment is retrieved, and I can already indicate the exact position on the page, using <a name="EXIST_ID"/> or similar. Cheers, Jakob. |
