Dear List, I recently used the "Download app" function in eXide to deploy an XAR package within an other eXist-db. The problem is that the generated .xar is not aware of the MIME types and all xml files not named with ".xml" are threated as an "application/octet-stream". Now I have three questions: Is there something I missed? Is it a bug? Is there any method how to generate the correct MIME type than to open the concerned files in eXide, change the file type with the drop-down list to XML and to store them after a singel character was entered and deleted again. I tried to correct this via the properties dialog in the eXide-Manger, but even if I have all rights needed the changes have no effect.
