[Exist-open] How to double escape JavaScript saved in the db

Dear all,

I  have a case where I save a JavaScript into the db is the form:

<script>
 <![CDATA[
    if (!doc.readyState && doc.addEventListener) {
        doc.readyState = "loading";
    }
   ]]>
</script>>

When I output the text from the db the ampersands are escaped. Any ideas
how to restore the original code?
