Actually, even a query like: doc(xs:anyURI('file:/F:\xmltest/someXmlFile.xml')) ...works (on my Windows 7 PC), even with Saxon. Maybe a Java-specific interpretation of the file URI scheme (I'm no expert at all in these matters)? Ron |
