I know this is out there somewhere, but I've been searching without much luck. I'm looking for an xforms example that uses existdb to select an instance document from a collection for the form to operate on. The xform would have an input to allow the user to select which instance document they want to work on by some unique xpath value and the form would open that instance doc for editing. I think the way it works is (assuming each instance document has a unique-id value and all the documents are conform to the same schema so they can be edited by the same xform) there's one xquery to populate a dropdown list in the xform and another xquery that's used to return the instance document to the xform when the user selects the unique id for the list. after that, the xform has a document name and it's pretty straight forward. Am I on the right path? Thanks! |
