Is there any way to know when this is happening? Basically I need to do hourly backups, and if the database is locked this is going to create major problems. I also have to offer users "export on demand" where a user can click a button and get an export of their repository? However at the same time this is a multi-user environment and that process can't block other users. Any suggestions on how to do this without blocking usability?
