Looking for some advice on production backup environment. I read on the site that when a backup is done with the scheduler it prevents any operations, is this true or am I misunderstanding? I have a site that will have lot of concurrent users at various times around the world. I need a way to ensure I have a good backup strategy that will accomplish two things: 1.) Not prevent use of the system. 2.) Backup individual directories that I specify on a regular basis (as frequently as every hour) Can anyone advise me on this? I would be glad to turn it into a wiki topic if one does not already exist. Cheers, Casey -- -- Casey Jordan Jorsek Software LLC.
