good point , I know I was forgetting the reasoning behind setup.xqm ;)

I would suggest you create a standalone xquery that you place under
webapp/betterforms that you call from your docs, I will integrate it
into setup.xqm at some point next week.

give me a shout when you do and I will immediately test ... just make
sure that extensions/build.properties has betterforms extension set to
false.
