Hi there, I'm using eXist as part of an application that is built in PHP, and have been happy with it so far. However, I'm running into some difficulties in finding information on how to do some work with integrating eXist + XForms Filter with PHP. Here's what I am trying to accomplish 1) use eXist to generate a form based on a document containing sporting stats information (e.g. baseball statistics) and return HTML for that form to PHP so it can be displayed in the application. 2) collect the form data if the user makes any updates and send it to a PHP script 3) PHP script then passes information back to eXist. I've had great success with steps 2 and 3, using it many different places. It's step 1 where the problem is happening. I have a requirement that we cannot ask users of the system to install any plugins in order to make this system work, since it needs to work on a variety of browsers on different platforms. I guess this is sort of doing "eXist as a web service", a concept I've found in my travels via Google. I hope I've made sense and thanks in advance for any help that you might be able to give me. -- Chris Hartjes ch...@xm... Developer XML Team Solutions, Inc. http://www.xmlteam.com |
