I just recently got my webapp that has an embedded eXist (hence jars in WEB-INF/lib) to work with the JNLP servlet to start the client via webstart. Originally got some null pointer exceptions (in JnlpWriter) because I did not have the jar files named correctly because I tend to put a version number (or date if no version number for all jars). So I noticed two things 1.) In JnlpJarFiles.java you reference exist.jar for the _mainJar variable and 2.) in the jars[] in the same java files has a few core jar files with no version number such as jgroups-all. Maybe this is all ok and those jar files won't change anymore. But I might suggest in LatestFileResolver.java getResolvedFileName() does not find the jar file to try one more time with a %latest% token. And thinking the same applies for exist.jar I tend to version this jar file. Just a suggestion thanks, Kevin |
