yes, its used with xinclude here is a rather complicated example which should illustrate the maximum capabilities <xi:include href="../../test.xml#xmlns(x=http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml)xpointer(/x:html/x:head/x:script)"/> this is saying, include the xml element <script/> from the test.xml which is 2 directories up. note that if u are using namespaces u will have to declare them as shown with xmlns() convention. xpointer is a bit tricky because some people support different versions of the spec, so u will have to test what is right for you. gl, Jim Fuller On 6/20/07, Zeppe <e.t...@gm...> wrote: > Hi, > Has anyone tried to use XPointer together with eXist?
